My Shopping Spree

Looking through the many pages of one of these famous magazines, on a beautiful Tuesday morning, I was feeling not only beautiful, but also like I needed to spoil myself with some amazing fashion trends.
I felt it was time I upgraded my style to a style that would sooth my new persona, a style I thought would be best for my new status. I had just bought and furnished my house the previous month and only just changed my both cars the past week. It was indeed a shopping galore for me, like the slogan goes "all new everything"
I had checked out a few make-up products that I liked, alongside a couple of dresses and accessories I thought would match, I had also checked out some bags and nice shoes I felt were lovely enough for me to have.

Of course I made some order on Jumia you know!... I made payments for my first badge of shopping. I was ready for another round of shopping. Just as I flipped to the next page of the magazine I stumble on a picture that insulted my womanhood, what insolence I thought. I had been off the radar for a while, working hard and getting paid while at it, even with all of the fashion blunders I see young ladies commit, it still did not occur to me yet that we were in its time and season, until I stumbled on that picture in the magazine.

My expressions were TOTALLY lost; a cold shiver went down my spine that made it difficult to swallow saliva. I could not find the right words or gesture to replace my feelings.
Unimaginable I thought to myself, I still couldn’t fathom what in the world would push a woman to pose nude in front of a camera, and then sign a contract to share it with the whole inhabitants of PLANET EARTH for an agreed price. Was she that cheap I thought?

I couldn’t find answers. Just when I gave up on thinking, it dawned on me that she was a model. I wasn’t surprised although I was not as excited as I was earlier…I had a thought, if only girls would respect their bodies, but it was the trend? What if those pictures got into the wrong hands before they were published? Or perhaps the other party breached the contract? Wouldn’t it have been worse?
I immediately closed the magazine with displeasure, placed my ATM card in my wallet, picked up my hand bag, took my car keys from the side table where they were staring at me in boredom and drove to church.

True meaning of Christmas

what is Christmas?
how do we feel about Christmas? does it have the same meaning to everyone of us?

I ponder on these questions from year to year, wandering if i would get the answers i seek.
I have realized with each passing year, how people detach from their minds the true meaning of Christmas and refuse to reflect on the savior's love.
Hasn't it become appalling how Christians all around the world refuse to produce fruits after their kind?

Could it be that Christmas is simply a time to make merry, get drunk and totally forget about the savior's love? or perhaps a time to be drunken with the wine of indignation the great whore presents?
I have come to realize over the years that Christians have forgotten their essence.
Have they not fallen into that great sleep and forgotten that we ought to watch and pray? for it is given unto them to know the mysteries of heaven.
How can they know the mysteries thereof if they are yet caught in that great sleep?

For Christians all over the world, Christmas should be a time for us to reflect upon our heavenly father's love for man that he sent down his son JESUS CHRIST the atoning one.
JESUS CHRIST not only came to atone for the sins of mankind, but during his earthly ministry he came to reorganize his church on earth, and appoint disciples that would carry on his work after he has ascended back to his father.
He came to fulfill the prophecy as it had been spoken by the mouths of prophets who had been inspired of GOD through the Holy Spirit.
He came in the meridian of time to unite man with GOD.

Christmas is a time for us to show gratitude to GOD, and strive to walk in the savior's foot steps such that we can be disciples after him.
I know this to be true and i so testify in Jesus Christs name, Amen!
Have a merry Christmas!

Marie Curie was refused enrollment in a regular institution of higher education because she was a woman, however she ended up being the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the first person (and only woman) to win twice, the only person to win twice in multiple sciences, the first woman to become a professor at the University of Paris, and in 1995 became the first woman to be entombed on her own merits in the Panthéon in Paris.

What is Religion?

There are several definitions to the word "religion" . One dictionary definition of the word "religion" describes it as the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.
Another dictionary definition of Religion describes it as a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

Each of these definitions point out the three main pillars on which religions are built whether they be false, or true. These pillars are; Belief, the presence of a God, and the existence of a super-human-controlling power. Upon these pillars are the code of conduct which governs any religion given or built.

As there are many beliefs, so also are there many Religions. But how do you know which is true?
the Bible admonishes us not to believe every spirit but to test all spirits (1 john 4:1).
How are we able to test spirits to know if they are truly of God? How are we able to know if a religion is false or true? or if a prophesy is false or true?

There are laws that bind the universe, these laws are different from those that guide the spiritual, and the laws that guide the spiritual are different from the celestial laws. There are heavenly(celestial laws) a person must obey to get divine messages from God. Just as every law has its principles there are principles a person must keep to obtain these divine messages.

In that same manner we are able to test all spirits. After a person receives Christ as a lord and savior, that person is baptized and the holy-spirit is conferred upon him. He now has the holy spirit as his constant companion. The Holy-spirit then gives us guidance and direction on a condition "if we yield to its enticing" we are not forced into making choices against our will because man has his agency. The right to choose for himself good or evil. Visions are seen , prophesies are revealed and deep secrets are known to man THROUGH THE HELP OF THE HOLY-SPIRIT. God reveals deep and secret things to those he loves, the Bible confirms it.

Because there is a truth, a lie is forged to counter it.
Because there is faith, there is fear.
Because there is light, there is darkness.
There always has to be an opposite of everything so there is a balance.

LIFE

Everybody has got their share of life's difficulties. Nobody gets it easier than the other. A lot of people think that way because of the misconceptions they have about life. Nobody is placed on a gold platter or favored than the other, its just the answer life gives us for the questions we ask.

A lot of times life presents people with the opportunity of choice, but often times people abuse it. How do you get an answer when you do not answer a question? Life expects from us humans to tell it what we want from it. In the event that we don't the answer, what we get is pain and suffering.

When life presents you a lemon, it is expected of you to make a lemonade. As the Gods would not do for man what men ought to do for themselves, In that same manner heaven helps those who helps themselves.
